Kate Gurren — ‘No More Fig Leaves’

It was such a pleasure to help bring the visual world around ‘No More Fig Leaves’ to life.

We shot this one in Kate’s backyard, and kept the imagery stripped back and natural, capturing visuals that felt warm, grounded, and true to the heart of the project. Photos, little snippets of video, and some sweet Spotify canvases on my Canon PowerShot G7X to help carry the feeling of the songs across the release.

The EP artwork was also really intentional. Kate had a clear vision for it from the beginning, and the figs became such a simple but powerful visual thread through the project. Held in open hands, reflected in the mirror, surrounded by warm tones and gold detail, the artwork carries that tension of vulnerability and covering, beauty and exposure, hiding and being known by Jesus.
